At the end of September, the Buckeyes traveled to the University of Akron to compete in the Rubber City Invitational.
The team started off strong, earning a 14-4 win over Cleveland Water Polo Club, but then fell in two closely contested games, losing to Grand Valley 6-9 and to Notre Dame 7-8. Sunday morning gave the team a chance to rebound, beating Case Western 15 to 1.
