Alex Puthoff (AP), Head Coach

Alex (AP) began coaching the Buckeyes in 2021 and has been nothing short of a blessing to the team. He brings tons of high-quality water polo experience, as a current member of Columbus Sea Cows Masters team. Alex is a graduate from The Ohio State University earning a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance. In his time at Ohio State, he was named first team All Conference in the Great Lakes zone in 2017 and 2018, and continued success in the Big Ten earning first team honors in 2019. In addition, in 2017 he was awarded All-American Honorable Mention. Through his short three years at Ohio State, the team has continually improved and the Buckeyes are always contenders for the Big Ten Championship. Alex has imposed confidence, strength, skill, and motivation into his players because of his vocal leadership and praise for his players.

Drew (Larry) Wilson, Coach

Drew Wilson (Larry), also a graduate from The Ohio State University, similarly began his tenure as coach after the covid year in 2021. Drew brings a undoubtedly skilled background to the team, winning Great Lakes player of the year in 2018, AND Big Ten player of the year in 2019, not to overlook his first team honor in 2017 He was also named a second team All American in 2017, and a Honorable Mention in 2018; In the Buckeyes 2018 National Championship run, he received second team all All-tournament award by the CWPA. In his final year at Ohio State, he was named Honorable mention All American in 2019. Drew, in his third year, is a great example of the Buckeyes recent improvements, especially on the offensive side of the ball. His willingness to demonstrate improves individual performance, and his vocalization brings team camaraderie to every practice, game, and social gathering. Drew is also a member of the Columbus Sea Cows Masters Team
